Our Story

Bed Bugs Undercover, LLC, is a local, family-owned pest control business based in Greene County, Tennessee. It is owned and operated by James and Heather Brashears. James has been exterminating bed bug infestations and general pest problems across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia regions since 2005. In 2020, James decided to take a leap of faith, follow his dreams, and start his own pest control company. James and Heather began Bed Bugs Undercover, LLC with just ideas, a pencil, and a notebook for brainstorming. They built Bed Bugs Undercover, LLC from the ground up and centered it on a strong foundation of honesty, reliability, transparency, and quality service. In 2022, they decided to offer more general pest control services and added the Pest Detectives division to their company. James is an Associate Certified Entomologist and a Certified Bed Bug Specialist. He is passionate about pest control and stands behind the work he and his team perform.
